This article applies to RSD0607 (AC750 Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender), RSD0608 (AC1200 Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender), RSD0617 (AC2100 Wi-Fi Range Extender), RSD0618 (AX1800 Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender), and RSD0623 (AC2100 Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender).
During the setup of your rockspace range extender, if you cannot find your host Wi-Fi network, please troubleshoot with the following tips.
Fix unable to find the host network
1. Make sure your device is in the range of the extender. Move it closer if it is too far away right now.
2. Check the encryption type of your router, as rockspace extender supports only no encryption, WPA, WPA 2, and WPA2/WPA mixed mode. For more information, visit how to check what security type my Wi-Fi network is using.
3. Log in to your router, go to Settings > WLAN (this is varied by your router model), and make sure the wireless network is not hidden.
